Fiona had quite a full weekend of festivities. First was the Vacation Bible School (VBS) bash at church on Friday. The children had a week of singing and hearing Bible lessons about Jesus. Unfortunately, Fiona missed all of VBS except for the party because of a fever.
The VBS party had pony rides, sheep, face paining and food. Fiona was very excited about the pony and was the only child standing up close to watch. But when it came for her turn she wouldn’t ride. : )
She also was very interested in the face painting. But when it came for her turn she didn’t want her face painted.
But what she did do at the party was pet and feed the sheep. She was so happy about the sheep. She ran around the pen with the other children grabbing hay and pushing it through the holes to feed them.
She surprisingly also wanted to do archery. Her version of archery was holding the bow and throwing the arrow as far as it would go. She didn’t want help. “I CAN do it!”
So while she wouldn’t ride the pony, she had a blast with the sheep and archery game. : )
