Her First Word + Funny Words

Fiona spelled her first word!  Well…by accident of course!  Somehow the word FAST came out of the row of letters she made on the fridge.

We found it pretty funny how Fiona began to call us (Mommy & Daddy) “everybody.”  So she’d say “Come on everybody. Let’s go downstairs.”  But as the day went on, she went from calling us everybody to buddies to then just buds.  It’s a mouthful to say “everybody” so much.  But I never thought my daughter would be calling me and Daddy “buds.”  “Hey, buds.  Come on, buds.” : )

Another funny word of hers is what she calls hiccups.  She calls them “pick-ups” and she insists that this is correct.  “Mommy, I have pick-ups.”
