Fiona makes us laugh and smile every day. Here are some fun little stories of our funny girl...
When we ask her if she wants some bread, she responds "Budder?" (butter). Daddy and I can't help but laugh and say to each other "Do we really have an 18-month old daughter that asks for butter with her bread?"
We were playing outside in front of our house. Fiona went to the door and asked very seriously for "Nina?" Nina!" Nina then spent the rest of the time outside with us. Guess Fiona thought Nina was missing out on the outdoor fun!
We have a pond near our house where there are ducks. Sometimes we'll go for a walk and visit them. One day as we were leaving the ducks, Fiona had a little conversation with herself. She said "Birdies...nooooo, cak-caks (ducks)." She actually corrected herself. Ha!
Fiona really enjoys her buddy, William. The other day she went for a walk with him (of course to see the ducks). As we were pushing them, they reached out across the moving strollers and held hands. They did it all by themselves, and held hands for a good few minutes. It was very sweet.
And now for a song...
Fiona's Little People took yet another trip...this time they were stowaways (!) in Daddy's laptop case. Somehow Charlie Brown is always involved in these frequent travels (see left hand).
I went to close the dishwasher and looked down to see a DVD case neatly in amongst the dishes. I could have easily missed it and the library-loaned DVD would have gotten a good washing. I wonder how that got there? : )
